With the end of the year fast approaching, I would like to take a moment and thank you for all of the support, kindness, and encouragement that you have offered throughout the school year. This year has been an amazing and challenging experience. I've enjoyed working with every student and look forward to seeing them continue to learn and grow.

STF Strike Action
Regina Public Schools was informed by the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation (STF) that they will be conducting strike action on Wednesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 26, 2011. All schools will reopen ans resume normal operations on Friday, May 27, 2011.

Letter for Parents Pizza Orders/One Act Plays
Memo To All Parents/ Guardians
ONE ACT PLAY
The play will be upon us soon! We have only 6 rehearsal days left and have several items that need your prompt attention:
1. After school rehearsals have been added to the schedule (attached). Please ensure that your child attends ALL rehearsals they have a part in.
2. All costumes need to be at school this week (May 2 - 6) and remain at school until the play is finished.
3. All students who are on stage need their own foundation as well as a pencil eye liner for hygienic reasons.
4. Cast and crew pizza party/rehearsal will take place Friday, May 6 from 3:30 - 8:00. We ask that each student bring $5 to cover the cost of pizza and refreshments. Parent volunteers are welcome. Please return order forms and money by Thursday, May 5.
5. We will be attending the Sask Drama Associations’s Middle Years Festival all day at the University of Regina on May 11th.
6. School performances will be Tuesday May 10th at 1:15 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you then.

April News
It's hard to believe that we are already moving into the third term of the school year! During our student teacher conferences the students reviewed the goals they set in November. They decided whether their goal had been met or if they need to continue to work towards that goal. The students are reminded to work towards their personal goals as well as our classroom goal of cooperation and respect.
